While at the lodge you can enjoy guided hunting and fishing (by prior arrangement) in the surrounding area. You may also explore some of the many nature walks within close proximity to the lodge, through Podocarp rain forest or up to Carew Waterfall located behind the lodge. The lodge’s convenient location – only 3 hours from Christchurch International Airport or a mere 50 minutes from Hokitika Airport – has ensured it popularity as being easily accessible with superb facilities in a remarkable location.
